Overview
The restaurant is situated in the centre of town . It was busy with a good atmosphere and the service was great . The menu and specials board had a great selection of fish to order from. Unfortunately access for wheelchair users is terrible. For more details read further on in the review .
Transport & Parking
We drove to the restaurant. The town was busy but luckily we managed to find offstreet parking very close to the restaurant.
Access
Problems with wheelchair access began right from the beginning . Access to the building ivolves going down 2 steps (see photo). The shop /takeaway is on the lower level but if you want to go to the restaurant you must then go up several steps ( see photo ). The table that we sat at was really good because I could get right under the table in my wheelchair.
Toilets
There is a disabled toilet but again there are access problems for wheelchair users. The problem is that you must go up several stairs in order to get to the disabled loo. The disabled toilet is spacious and does have an emergency red cord. See photo.
Staff
The staff were friendly and attentive.
