Taff Valley Buggy Trails, Pontypridd, CF37 5BJ, United Kingdom | 02920831658 | Website

Venue Description

We offer a range of outdoor activities and exciting new ways to see the Welsh countryside for all ages and abilities. We are located in the beautiful Taff Valley just outside Cardiff. Experience the thrill and challenge of Quad Biking, negotiating a 250cc or 90cc Honda all-terrain vehicle, with a trek through our cross-country nature trail whilst enjoying some of the best views of the Taff and Quad Biking terrain! Not to mention an ideal location for our Assault Course, Archery, Laser Shooting and Clay Pigeon Shooting. Plus we arrange Gorge Walking in the stunning waterfall region of the Brecon Beacons.

Accessibility

We are a working farm with plenty of open space parking for disabled visitors. We work with a lot of disabled customers and although we don't have specific access / ramps in place for the visitors we have no problems. We have a Land Rover which we are able to use to transport customers around our farm to the various activity sites. As long as the guests have someone with them who can be responsible for any lifting or handling then we do our best to accommodate all guests.

Toilets

There is only one small step to get into the toilet area - it is around a 4cm high step. The doors are regular sized doors not specifically designed for wheelchair access but one of the toilets is extra large inside. There are no grab rails or chords fitted in the toilets.

Staff

A lot of our staff have on the job experience of working with customers with varying disabilities from hearing impairment, visual impairment, loss of limbs and wheelchair users. We also work a lot with groups with learning difficulties.

Assistance dog facilities

Assistance dog exercise facilities

We are a working farm with plenty of available land to exercise assistance dogs. We have sheep on site but if necessary could allow the dogs into a field which is fenced off from any sheep. All areas will be grassy/muddy.

Other assistance dog facilities

We don't supply water bowls but can fill water bowls for customers dogs. The dogs would be able to use the area for a toilet area too.
