Overview
I love Indian food and being a wheelchair user this restaurant has Level access from the street. Another advantage is that it is in the town centre .
Transport & Parking
Parking facilities right outside the restaurant or nearby. If you have a car driver and disabled it would be useful to be in possession of a blue badge.
Access
Disabled access is fine , And there are no major issues surrounding this. Plenty of space to move between tables. The only slight problem for wheelchair users Is the height counter, to Compensate for this however staff will come around to the front of the Counter with the chip and pin machine . While I was enjoying my meal Another wheelchair user entered the restaurant with two Non - disabled friends, I witnessed this lady do a side transfer independently from her manual wheelchair onto one of the fixed seats in the restaurant.
Toilets
The accessible toilet can be reached through a door which opens in The way, and then slightly turning your wheelchair to the left to access the sliding door Into the toilet. The toilet has grab rails.
Staff
I explain my particular needs surrounding my cerebral palsy. And on this occasion one member of staff kindly broke pompadoms into smaller manageable pieces for me and added the Chutneys which I had ordered. On previous visit the staff have always been friendly and approachable And always willing To bring me food or drink from the Buffet.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
The menu has a good selection of dishes to choose from that would suit most discerning taste buds. It has a nice relaxing atmosphere for you to comfortably enjoy your meal.
