Overview
Old fashioned carriages but the staff put out a ramp for me to board.if in a chair you would have to sit in the guards van but there are Windows and no charge for you or carer .If you can walk once you are on board I parked my walker by my seat. The disabled person gets a reduced fare and the carer goes free. The staff offered me a wheelchair to get along the platform to board then to get back to the car.
Transport & Parking
Parking was a short distance from the platform but I could have borrowed a chair from the station.
Access
As said access to the train by a step but I used a ramp .old fashioned carriages so handle on outside of carriage door, which confused some German visitors ,but guard had opened the door and put the ramp in place for me when it elastomer to get off.
Toilets
Disabled loo at station very clean and roomy. Obviously no disabled loo on the train but return journey was about 1 hour 45 minutes including getting the steam engine turned around and filling up with water at one station. Very interesting .
Staff
Staff very friendly and helpful, nothing seemed to be be too much trouble to them.
