Overview
Very good apart from toilet issues.
Transport & Parking
Waterloo Station is nearby and the Jubilee Line offers step-free access but beware - the Jubilee Line lift has had severe problems for months and is frequently out of service - check before you travel! A few bus routes will drop you off nearby.
Access
Easy to get in if someone is there to hold the heavy glass doors for you. Easy to get around the restaurant and sit at a table in your wheelchair. Impossible to get to the toilet at first - one star lost for this - because the staff stack spare chairs in the corridor leading to the toilet. This is so silly.
Toilets
Really awful. First of all, the door is huge and opens in such a way that it's impossible to get into the toilet without first going through another heavy door and waiting in the corridor beyond it. Worse still the emergency cord had been tied up in a complex knot and was unusable by anyone falling to the floor. In the case of serious injury this can be a life-and-death issue. See my attached pictures. Disgraceful.
Staff
Very sweet-natured and friendly staff. Half a star lost because the one person I spoke to about the toilet emergency cord didn't really 'get' it, despite my clear and thorough explanation. A whole star lost because of the utter silliness of stacking chairs to block the route to the accessible toilet.
