Very poor accessibility

This review is especially helpful for those who have or use the following: Walking Aid, Wheelchair
Overview
There are two disabled spaces at spa entrance. There are two doors to get through that don’t open automatically. Disabled room is in another building with a short walk to main building. Disabled room has access via a ramp but then a lip at the door. No room either side of beds for a walker or wheelchair. Bathroom shower has two handrails not in easy to grab position. No seat or shelf. I felt very unsafe. The disabled toilet on ground floor isn’t big enough for a wheelchair. The other disabled toilet is upstairs in the spa. Quite a bit away from the restaurant. The spa itself doesn’t have great access. No wide doors that are heavy and difficult to open. No offer of help even when we asked if someone could help with our luggage. Managers response to all this was very disappointing. There are two rooms I believe in main building that have showers with a lip and might have been better experience if we were in main building but still sorely lacking in access despite what the website says
Transport & Parking
Two disabled spaces at spa entrance. No disabled spaces beside lodge that has the disabled access room
Access
Can’t get in front entrance as lots of steps. Spa entrance has two disabled spaces and then a small ramped walkway. The main doors don’t open automatically. There is no signage that I saw.
Toilets
One access toilet upstairs in spa accessed by lift. The other one on ground floor has a couple of handrails but not wheelchair accessible.
Staff
We asked for help with luggage and were told no. In general restaurant staff were helpful. Spa receptionist didn’t help with doors or offer to find someone to help with getting in or out of the relaxation room.
