Overview
The school is situated in the centre of town and is accessible to the shopping centre which is less than 10 mins on foot .
Transport & Parking
There are disabled parking spaces for both staff and students- approximate 5 spaces at the front entrance and three disabled parking spaces at the rear of the school. The bus stop going to nearby places such as Trim, Kells and Dublin are also located right outside the gates of the school. There are also school buses which operate in the morning and in the afternoon. These are then located within 5 mins walk of the school.
Access
The front entrance is all ground level and is accessible to wheelchair users. The doors are not open constantly so wheelchair users and long cane users may require assistance of opening the door when going in and out of the school building.
Toilets
The entrance to the toilet is not wide enough and there is barely enough space to manoeuvre a wheelchair inside the toilet.
Staff
The staff are friendly and approachable.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
There is a a lift inside the school building which is located in middle of a corridor. The corridors are wide but a wheelchair user may need to be careful as there are many students walking in and out of their classes every 40 minutes and during lunch time. The lift is big and is easy to operate. The canteen is small and wheelchair users may find it difficult to navigate their way inside the canteen.
