Overview

A very large spacious area with lots of manoeuvrability in between the furniture, majority of the seating is light weight chairs however some furniture is low down of fixed in position.

Transport & Parking

There are only 2 spaces however they are located very close to the side entrance of the building. There is however a fairly steep incline to the door which may restrict self propelled wheelchair users.

Access

Where the disabled parking bays are located the closest door is the side entrance of the building, however a fairly steep incline to the door. Both the main entrance and the side entrance are non power assisted doors and are relativity heavy. Throughout the coffee shop there is an ample amount of space to manoeuvre a large powered wheelchair. A majority of the furniture it movable and lightweight to allow for wheelchairs to easier be placed in to position. There are no steps throughout the coffee shop however the signage for the menu is fairly small. No induction loop or alternative formats available to assist with the menu that I could identify.

Toilets

One disabled toilet that was fairly large with rails to assist around the toilet. They do have some of the furniture fairly close to the door so if someone is sat at those tables and chairs you may have difficulty in a wheelchair passing without disturbing.

Staff

I have been to this coffee shop many times before and the staff have always been friendly and happy to help however on this occasion they were struggling to even get my order correct!

Anything else you wish to tell us?

A lot of the chairs are wooden and contain no cushion therefore are not very comfortable. Due to the open layout of the coffee shop it does become very noisy which can be distractive as you can hear everyone's conversations. They do play a lot of very loud jazz music which may or not be to your taste! For a quick drink and bite to eat the food and drink is lovely however pricey!
