Overview
Easy to move my wheelchair around in. Chair and tables not to close together. Small selection of gluten free and vegan (dairy free) food. Different milk alternatives including soya (free) and oat milk (40p). Good selection of food and drinks. The till and food fridge wasn't at an accessible hight. The drink I has tasted nice. The man that served me was a bit grumpy but he obliged when I asked him to check the dietary book. I also carry a medical dietary requirements card which I showed him. The lady that mad my drink was friendly and carried my drink to the table for me. The also have plastic straws which is helpful for me as the cups are too heavy for me to pick up. The entrance doors are hard to open if you're in a wheelchair, my friend had to get them for me. It's a nice temperature in there, not too hot or cold.
Transport & Parking
No parking facilities. There is some limited double yellow line parking space which you can use with a blue badge but the dropped curb isn't near and if you need your wheelchair on the passenger side it's quite difficult. If the cinema is open there is some normal parking spaces but not accessible parking so you'd need to find a space with no cars on the side you need the wheelchair.
Access
No steps an on an even level for wheelchairs. I needed help with the main door. I could see the food available but I couldn't reach for everything and the serving desk was quite high up. Plenty of seating and table options.
Toilets
The accessible toilet today was out of order and there's only one. From past experience of going there was grab rails and enough room (just) to manouver my wheelchair. There would be enough room for a carer I think. The emergency red cord was tied up. I had to use the normal toilet today and it was clean.
Staff
The gentleman that served me was a bit grumpy but he did oblige when I asked him to check the allergy/ingredients book. The lady that made the drinks was friendly and carried my drink to the table for me.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
It's good if you have food allergies/intolerances. Having a working accessible toilet would have been better. Also if the front door was electric that would be great.
