Overview
For an old building of such historic importance access is very good.
Transport & Parking
Arriving on foot, well wheeling, I didn't use a car or public transport. There appears to be some car parking around the back but you would need to contact the Cathedral for more information.
Access
Two stone ramps are integrated into the front of the Cathedral. Wheeling up these you come into the entrance doorway and this has a sliding automated door. Level access takes you to the corner of the Cathedral where there is another ramp to get you up to the main level. Once on this level you can wheel around most areas. Only one Chapel is not accessible but you can peer in. There are steps at this point to take you to the lower level where I think there is a cafe. You can get to this via an accessible route - go outside and follow the building line and you come to the accessible route.
Toilets
I didn't need to use the loo but I understand there may be accessible toilets. Suggest asking a staff member.
Staff
The staff / volunteers were very welcoming and informative.
