Overview
This place is a whisky distillery with a cafe and at first sight presents challenges to a wheelchair user as the cafe is on the first floor. Do not despair! On arrival we were welcomed by genuinely helpful staff who opened doors (all nicely level entrances), accompanied us in the especially installed disabled lift, moved chairs away from table to accommodate us and generally made us feel welcome. The cafe looks out over main part of distillery - the tour itself is not entirely disabled friendly. The food in the cafe is amazing, the service exceptionally friendly and efficient - in fact on our visit we met no one who didn’t have a genuine smile on their face.
