Overview
Reasonable access. Good service. Food was very good. Service a little slow but perfectly tolerable.
Transport & Parking
Number of spaces not clear. I parked in a space marked with a wheelchair logo on the end of a row full of cars. How many other spaces where marked I could not tell as they where just normal spaces. Just white markings and no extra space at the sides so without looking under the parked cars I could not tell the number. But a very large car park for a Pub so likely to be able to get "on the end of a row if the space is needed.
Access
Flat level access from car park except for a wooded door tread on the outer door about 1" high. Most of the floor inside was on one level, Tables and chairs well spaced plenty of room to maneuver a wheelchair. One small raised area at one end of the pub, around 4" above the rest of the floor. Unfortunately this was where the disabled toilet was.
Toilets
Full sized disabled toilet room, normal height toilet, fixed and fold down rails. Plenty of space to transfer from wheelchair. Access to toilet via raised floor area approx 4" above main floor level. Staff produced small ramp as soon as location of toilet was mentioned. Ramp was a GRP door step type, exactly the correct height but only about 30" wide.
Staff
Staff seemed rather embarrassed at the toilet only being accessible via the raised floor. Ramp produced within seconds of asking about the disabled toilet, they clearly keep it close by. Assistance offered getting wheelchair up the ramp and negotiating the toilet door but not taken.
