Overview
Spanish City is refurbished building from 1910 housing a variety of eateries including a steak and seafood restaurant, tearooms, a Champagne bar and Trenchers the fish and chip restaurant which is where I visited.
Transport & Parking
We drove to the venue so I can't advise on public transport. There are disabled parking bays at the rear of the building.
Access
By the disabled parking bays is a level entrance and from here level access to the ground floor and a lift to the other floors.
Toilets
There are disabled toilets on all floors. The one in the Trenchers restaurant was large enough for a wheelchair and a carer and had adequate grab rails.
Staff
The staff were friendly and welcoming.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
This was a lovely experience eating great fish and chips in a beautifully restored building. Nice touches with real china cups and saucers. I would definitely recommend this venue and will be going back again. There are very smooth pathways around the venue and lovely sea views, plus outdoor seating areas, weather permitting!
