Overview
At Southampton train station until end July at earliest NO TAXIS OR BUSES through South platform exit( which normally there are). No signs, no tanoy announcements, not mentioned when going down ramp, no posters etc I am self propelling and registered blind and was carrying heavy rucksack on back of wheelchair. Wasted 20 mins went down a steep slope that ultimately I had to go up again wasted 20 minutes, could not get back into station as already checked ticket out. Had to shout for staff to let me through at both barriers. The delay/extra propelling left my arthritic joints in agony/exhausted/ feeling faint on a very hot day/ and I missed my ferry. Train staff totally disinterested said they had asked station managers for posters but they refused.
