Overview
Everything about it was great except for the trek to the loo, which is why it loses a star.
Transport & Parking
Don't know about parking - probably pay & display on side streets? Loads of buses along South Clerk St. Taxi can stop right outside.
Access
Flat access into restaurant. Staff very quick to open door for me.
Toilets
I wouldn't call it accessible, but they've done what they can - a dozen or so steps down, then a 90 degree turn and a few more steps down to the door to the loos (and another area with further tables). On the way down the stairs you can check out some of the goods for sale - i picked up a lovely Moroccan bowl. Stairs are metal with a textured surface which helps your feet grip. Chunky banister right down - poss. both sides? Definitely on left though. The accessible loo itself had plenty of room for me - although of course I'd had to leave the scooter upstairs!
Staff
So lovely. When i phoned to book i asked about accessibility. The lady on the phone couldn't have been more helpful and was so apologetic about the location of the loo. She immediately suggested that she would seat us at the table at the very top of the stairs, to make my trek to the loo as short as possible. The same lady was took our orders and looked after us on the night. Food was served promptly and service was attentive without being intrusive.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Have the qarnabit! You won't regret it! Alcohol licence due imminently, or so we were told anyway.
