Transport & Parking

nearest parking is in the eastgate shopping centre or on street a few hundred yards away. the area in pedestrianised & quite easy to navigate in a wheelchair. it is also quite close to the railway station & the bus station.

Access

Access from the front of the shop is step free & there is a reasonable amount of space to find a table although it is sometimes very busy. there is a separate lower level accessed from inside down a few steps or from the side entrance where there is 1 step.

Toilets

there is an accessible toilet opposite the counter. there is a sliding door & plenty of space. on our visit they were very clean & pleasant.

Staff

staff were friendly & helpful & brought our order to the table.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

This cafe is a must for any chocolate lovers. the hot chocolate is made from real chocolate & you can have soya if you require it. The cakes are awesome & come on a plate with sauce. there are tiny cakes for those who are watching their waistlines. there are also fancy chocolates & ice creams & my mum says the coffee is good. we recommend the churros sharing plate & the caramel shortbread. nom nom!
