Overview
The staff were helpful, friendly, and courteous. There was a little confusion over whether I had booked the boozy brunch or not due to an error on the booking form. If I had, there wouldn't be much business being discussed! They quickly corrected this and left a vacant space at the table, as I noted that I am a wheelchair user. So many places ignore customer notes, I'm glad they didn't.
Transport & Parking
There is no immediate parking outside this location, but it’s served by a busy bus route and the nearby Piccadilly Gardens Metrolink, which is very accessible, with ramp and step-free access on both sides of the platforms and grab rails on either side.
Access
There's level access throughout the venue, although I needed assistance with the heavy double doors. The staff were quick to notice me and helped me leave. There's a variety of seating options, with plenty of room to manoeuvre with additional seating upstairs if you can manage. There is no dropped section at the bar, which is where you order and pay for your food and drinks. There are no alternative formats in use, and no braille or large print menu options, This venue is dog-friendly, other than on Saturday, though there is an exception for guide and assistance dogs. Dog bowls are provided for our furry friends and canine colleagues.
Toilets
There's a small but functional accessible toilet on the right as you enter, with enough room for a wheelchair user and a second person. The door requires a RADAR key and opens inwards. It's locked/unlocked from the inside by raising or dropping the handle. The room has white tiles, bordered by maroon tiles halfway up the wall. The toilet is on the rear wall and has a soft backrest and grab rails on either side, with the flush located high on the left when seated. The emergency cord hangs on the left, but it is behind a bin, which also limits the only transfer space available. There’s a low, small sink with a lever-style tap and a baby changing station. I've marked down here due to the emergency cord being tucked behind the bin.
Staff
The staff were very pleasant, happy to have a laugh with me, and open to feedback on both our meal and the restaurant's facilities. Some of the nicest restaurant staff I've ever spoken with.
