Overview
Visited Sloanes to celebrate an anniversary. We’ve been a couple of times and the food has always been excellent. Friendly, helpful staff and wheelchair accessible.
Transport & Parking
The restaurant is part of the hotel next door and parking is available, but I’m not sure if this is for hotel guests only. The restaurant is about five minutes walk from Wakefield Westgate train station.
Access
The main entrance to the restaurant has a step so wheelchairs have to go through the hotel just next door. There is a ramp up to the hotel door. Once inside, you will have to ask staff to get a foldable ramp out as there is a step down into the restaurant. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Seating is available in the hotel lobby if you need a rest.
Toilets
An accessible toilet is available near the hotel lobby. It is large with plenty of space to manoeuvre. Grab rails provided and the toilet was clean and tidy. Enough space for a carer.
Staff
Fantastically friendly staff who are able to recommend dishes and offer advice on allergens.
