Overview
In advance of the gig we were sent a map showing the accessible entrance but on the day this didn’t exist. We queued as instructed and were told that VIP ticket holders would enter first, then those who had accessible tickets. If it wasn’t for my wife, they would have forgotten this step. It just didn’t seem well organise. It was refreshing that the accessible section was at the front on the stage. Unfortunately there was no platform for extra height so when everyone in the standing section stood up, we could only see a quarter of the stage. In the accessible section, there was one small portable toilet, some wheelchair users would find this difficult to use. There were plenty of food options available and as it was hot they handled out free bottles of water. Fortunately the gig was brilliant and the location is very close to the train station.
