Overview
We had lunch in this easily accessible restaurant, which is in a lovely setting, close to Loch Lomond
Transport & Parking
There is a large flat tarmac car park. Although there are no designated blue badge spaces it is easy to drop someone off at the door.
Access
The entrance is level and there is room to move a wheelchair between tables. There are tables very near the door if walking is difficult. There are some tables up a few steps but plenty on the level. The building is a former church.
Toilets
The toilet has a drop down rail and a grab rail on the other side that is near enough to be useful (not always the case!) There is room for a rollator and an assistant. I think there would also be room for a wheelchair and assistant. I don't recall seeing a red cord. The toilet is down a short corridor from the restaurant with a right angle turn, but fairly easy to get to.
Staff
Very pleasant and helpful. Thanks to the young man from Helensburgh who served us and the lady from the shop who rushed to help my relative while I was parking the car.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Sanitiser at the door and plenty room to move about. There is some outside seating although some is on the grass. At the moment the restaurant is also doing takeaways. There is a village shop in a temporary structure in the car park. At certain times camper vans are allowed to park overnight in the car park.
