Overview
This garden centre has easy access , and automatic doors to enter. There was plenty of room to get about inside but I’m told there was less space if they have promotions on or extra stands out such as at Christmas or during the summer months. Getting around out side was ok although one area wasn’t easy as items had fallen over during a windy day. Plants etc were reasonably priced and there was a good choice despite it being winter. The shop inside sells garden lights , tools, furniture, compost in fact anything you need to make your garden look nice. They also have a large area selling pet food and accessories. Plus indoor furniture , things for the kitchen like trays mugs, small electrical items, saucepans and gifts too. The cafe where we had a cake and hot drinks was nice . Room for me to get to a table with my wheelchair. Plenty of choice of hot and cold snacks , meals and drinks staff were helpful . Would visit again when in the area. The car park has a few blue badge spaces and was a mixture of gravel and tarmac . The gravel not too easy to cope with. But we managed ok
Transport & Parking
We were able to park in one of the blue badge spaces . These aren’t far from the entrance .
Access
Access to the shop was easy up a slight incline and there were automatic doors . Getting out to the plant area was good again automatically doors. There was space to get around inside and out although might not be as easy at other times depending on the displays . To get to the cafe you had to go through two doors these were not automatic but we managed ok . The cafe is nice and it was easy to get around,
Toilets
Didn’t see a sign for any but thought they should have some given they have a coffee shop
Staff
