Venue Description
Shuttleworth is at Old Warden, Just outside Biggleswade in Bedfordshire. It is home to vintage aircraft that range from 1909-1950s, classic motorcycles and early cars, a Regency Swiss Garden, and The House (formerly the Shuttleworth family mansion). Events with flying displays run from May-October, and the Collection and Swiss Garden are open to the public daily. The House is open for Afternoon Teas and events at set times. Our restaurant is open 7 days a week and has free wifi, adjacent to it is the Visitor Centre & Gift Shop. Accessibility
Shuttleworth aims to be as accessible as possible to visitors. There is level access from the car park areas to the Shuttleworth Visitor Centre. The Visitor Centre provides level access to a Restaurant and the entrance to the Swiss Garden. The pathways in the Swiss Garden are firm and even, with minimal gradients, and most are suitable for access by wheelchair users. There are ramps between hangars within the Collection.
