Overview
It's so wonderful to find wheelchair spaces that aren't right up against the screen. At this Showcase, they're positioned a few rows back, giving a much more comfortable view. I've visited this cinema on several occasions now, and wheelchair accessibility is generally very good. If I wanted to be picky, I might mention that wheeling over the carpets is always more difficult than hard-flooring, and that some may find the entrance ramp a bit of a challenge to propel up, but mostly it's fine! The only real quibble I have - which is why this gets 4 stars rather than 5 - are the disabled lavatories. They're adequately equipped and independent manual users such as myself will find them suitable, but those with larger power chairs, or who need assistance from a carer, might find it a tight squeeze.
Transport & Parking
Just off the M6 junction. Plenty of disabled parking close to the ramped entrance.
Access
Toilets
Clean, and adequately supplied with grab rails and a correctly positioned emergency cord. Only problem is that they were on the small side, and might be a tight squeeze for anyone who uses a larger powerchair, or requires assistance from a carer.
