Overview
This wonderful museum is superb and has many interesting facts about Shetland during the war, it was extremely interesting! It has a lovely wee restaurant in the museum called the "Hays Dock restaurant" it also has fantastic staff who do everything they can to assist with your trip to, not just the museum but the whole of Lerwick.
Transport & Parking
We drove and we parked in a car park at the side of the building which had a few disabled car parking spaces and plenty of space to get in and out of the car.
Access
Nice level access and smooth floors all the way through the museum. There are lifts inside the museum in order to take you to the museum.
Toilets
I seen that the toilets were tight and compact but had everything that I needed.
Staff
The staff were amazing, we asked if they could tell us how to get to 'fort charlotte' and they told us the most accessible way to get to fort charlotte.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
It's simply a must visit if you've never been before and want to learn more about Shetland,
