Overview
Loved Shetland Museum - very accessible and gave great insight into Shetland life - historical and up to the present day.
Transport & Parking
Great! We parked right outside - there were a couple of designated blue badge spaces. The museum is a short drive from the ferry terminal so a great spot to stop off on your trip.
Access
Great! Level access throughout, decent size lift, lowered reception counter. The exhibition cases had objects at differing heights so there was lots to see and they were well spaced so easy to navigate too. We had lunch in the cafe and we could manoeuvre tables and chairs as required.
Toilets
Clean tidy and spacious - there were accessible loos on ground floor and next to the cafe.
Staff
Super helpful. We asked teh ladies at the desk for directions to other attractions nearby and they were able to help with that too.
