Overview
A great place to visit, as a former Sheffield resident maybe I am biased. I was born in Sheffield and lived there until I married. I visited my parents there until they sadly died in 2006 and 2015. I have loved visiting the Winter Gardens during my frequent visits to Sheffield, it is completely accessible and there is always something to see. Recently I went to the Leonardo da Vinci exhibition in the Millennium Galley which is on the same site as the Winter Gardens, it was completely accessible
Transport & Parking
There is no parking onsite, parking is a few minutes walk away in the City Centre. Buses stop nearby also in the City Centre.
Access
no problems
Toilets
Didn't need to use it.
Staff
There was staff on hand but I didn't need to ask the anything.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
As a previous resident of Sheffield I knew my way around the city

Accessible toilet is available downstairs in the Millennium Gallery (accessed by lift or escalator). It’s not great, it’s small, and the door is awkward and blocks the men’s loos. If you’re an ambulatory user, and it’s possible for you to do so, I’d leave the wheelchair just outside with a friend.
