A lovely Easter Day
Visit date:
This review is especially helpful for those who have or use the following: Mobility Scooter
Overview
The whole area is wheelchair/scooter friendly, both outside and inside. I scooted around the ruins of most of the old buildings, reading the information which was at a suitable height. Inside the cafe my drink was carried to a table by very helpful and smiling staff. There were Easter craft activities being provided for the children at a very reasonable cost. I could move around and read all about the history of the area. A great few hours!
Transport & Parking
parking on a gravel area right outside the venue in a designated disabled space, no cost.
Access
It was a smooth surface with a slight step but not too big for my scooter.
Toilets
Huge disable loo NOT being used as a store room!
Staff
Carried drinks to a table. Attentive without being intrusive.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Recommended, especially for a family with children who need to expand some energy.
