Overview
Good access for wheelchairs. A lovely day out with lots of space for everyone. There were really friendly and helpful staff in the café.
Transport & Parking
The disabled parking for the gardens is located at the far end on the opposite side from the disabled toilets and café. This means you have to go up a long hill to access any of the amenities. This is ok but if you'd had a long journey to get there and needed the loo you'd have a fair trek to get there.
Access
90% of the garden is accessible by wheelchair with lovely wide paths. There are some areas where the paths are much narrower and these would not be easily accessible. Some of the paths have also seen better days so the journey could be a little bumpy in places.
Toilets
There is one disabled toilet by the café. There was no emergency alarm which worried us slightly.
Staff
Staff were really friendly and helpful.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
We had a great visit and will be going back with a group again for a picnic in the garden.
