Vintage skittles and delicious food!
Visit date:
Overview
Cosy Duddingston pub that's, very old and even has its own vintage skittle alley! Access is good considering this pub is around 600 years old, but be aware doorways can be a bit narrow.
Transport & Parking
Has a good sized car park right beside the pub, but public transport isn't the easiest around here. A good route to drive is around Holyrood Park at the bottom of Arthur's Seat.
Access
Surprisingly good! Step-free access, movable furniture, helpful staff and table service. The floor is carpeted, and it is darker than most restaurants inside as lights are at a very dim level. The bar is very high, but it is table service. Recommend booking in advance as it's a popular place!
Toilets
There is an 'easy access' toilet on the ground floor beside the skittle alley. It's good because it has a sliding door, but it's definitely on the small side.
Staff
Lovely people! Very attentive and happy to help.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Book in advance, and if you want a shot of the skittle alley after your meal make sure you reserve a slot before you visit and you can get the whole room to yourselves!
