Overview

My son had a great morning riding along the coastline. He was fully supervised so I felt confident to let him go off but he was also able to try out some new things once the stable owner could see he was relaxed.

Transport & Parking

Large parking area right next to the stables.

Access

Level access throughout but lots of equipment lying around to be aware of .

Toilets

No accessible toilet and toilet facilities generally pretty poor.

Staff

Very friendly and welcoming. The owner encouraged my son (who has learning disability) to brush and sroke the horse he was going to ride on for a good ten minutes to get them relaxed with each other. She took him out for his ride and quickly assessed he was relaxed and confident in the saddle. I felt vey confident that she could manage the situation

Anything else you wish to tell us?

My son has gone riding before but I think this would be a good introduction to riding for other young people. The atmosphere was very relaxed i.e. didn't start on time, and this was ok for us that day but might be a challenge for other young people who need things to happen in an order and when they are 'supposed' to.
