Overview
Like most folk, the sun comes out, the ice creams are done and thoughts turn to the beach! A day in North Berwick was called for and wheeling along the seafront you can't resist the call of the Seabird Centre.
Transport & Parking
Travelling by WAV, wheelchair accessible vehicle, we stopped at the line of three or so Blue Badge parking bays a short distance from the Seabird Centre. You can also travel into town by train from Edinburgh or catch one of the East Coast buses that come from Edinburgh and wind their way through the villages to North Berwick.
Access
Disabled access for wheelchair users at the Seabird Centre is very good. With an automated door at the entrance, plenty of space to move around and room in the cafe and terrace to get your wheelchair in too. There's a lift down to the exhibition space.
Toilets
The Seabird Centre has a good accessible toilet; just follow the signs.
Staff
