Overview
Access is excellent and staff very helpful. We've made regular visits to the cafe as its a great accessible meeting point as well as having good coffee and cake (I'd recommend the lemon cake!). Love the massive glass lift and staff are very friendly and helpful too.
Transport & Parking
There are single yellow line spaces nearby. Buses and Trams (soon) stop very close (although there is a bit of a climb back up to St Andrew's Square afterwards to catch some routes).
Access
Access is excellent - ramp up to the front door and doors are opened for you by staff. Level access throughout the first floor. Huge (and very cool) glass lift takes you to the exhibitions on the first and second floors. Cafe is on the ground floor and has a good amount of space. Chairs can be easily moved to make more space.
Toilets
There's an accessible loo on the ground floor which was large enough, although could have been a bit cleaner. The door opens out which is good. I'm not sure about upper floors.
Staff
Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
The refurb of this gallery has made it very accessible for wheelchair users. There is a huge amount of great art in this Gallery, including some fascinating historical pieces. Its well worth a visit!
