Overview

Scotsdales Garden Centre Cambridge is situated in Great Shelford, south of Cambridge city. There's accessible parking, and good access throughout, including to the excellent and very popular cafe.

Transport & Parking

Scotsdales has a large car park, with designated "disabled" parking in various places close to the store, and step-free access from there.

Access

There are automatic doors into the garden centre, and other doors within are also automatic. There is plenty of space to manoeuvre a wheelchair. Apart from one small area situated upstairs, there is step-free access throughout, to areas both indoors and outdoors. The cafe is fully accessible.

Toilets

There is one accessible toilet, situated just inside the entrance. Access to this is via a corridor to the right of the main entrance. As accessible toilets go it's not the most modern or best equipped, and manoeuvring a wheelchair out into a fairly narrow corridor may not be easy. There is a drop-down rail on the left of the toilet, with space for side transfer.

Staff

The staff we have encountered on various visits have been very helpful. Cafe staff are willing to carry trays to your table if requested.
