Overview
Las Palmas Gran Canaria's cathedral has a roof terrace from which there are panoramic views which is accessed by lift. There is a separate entrance to the cathedral and its museum.
Transport & Parking
The cathedral is in a pedestrianised area but there are buses that stop nearby.
Access
From the main square there is a ticket box where you buy tickets for the roof tops. There is a lift and then a couple of steps without handrail to go down. There is a separate entrance round the corner to go inside the cathedral and museum. This is accessible by a ramp. The ground floor rooms of the museum are accessible but upstairs only by stairs.
Toilets
I'm unsure if there were public toilets
Staff
The lady at the ticket box for the lift was helpful in telling me about the access to the roof top. The staff at the museum entrance just issued me with a ticket and didn't provide any assistance/ advice.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
There is a charge for visiting the cathedral and its museum. The cathedral building is beautiful but not particularly ornate and the museum contains religious art. There is a separate payment for going on the roof where there are stunning panoramic views.
