Overview
San Marino, west of Rimini in Emilia Romagna is a lovely little Provence of about 30k people, having been to Luxembourg, Lichtenstein and Andorra, it felt very much like they did, having their own individuality and uniqueness. Although we stayed in Rimini, we regretted not having stayed in San Marino. The main castle perched on a cliff top hill with surrounding wooded areas. All the people we met were very friendly and fiercely independent of their own wee home. The stadium where the game was could not have been better, the staff and the local police fantastic. Excellent accessibility and isabled provision, a lift to all areas and good seating.
Transport & Parking
We took the bus from Rimini, 15 minute service from The town square, journey time 30 mins, 15 miles, excellent both ways, the stadium car park was large and spacious, all on one level. No access issues.
Access
All on one level, lifts to the upper tier
Toilets
Did not use.
Staff
Very friendly, very welcoming and could not be more helpful.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
On reflection we would rather have stayed in San Marino than Rimini given the hotel experience.
