Overview
We had a group booking for 15 people. When we arrived they asked me in my chair to use a different entrance and somebody would assist. It was freezing I waiting 10 mins outside but nobody let us in so I ended up going back to the front door and walking up the steps with my crutches and my sister in law carried my chair. Luckily I have the ability to walk with crutches. The host then complained to my husband that nobody had informed them that there was a disabled person in a wheelchair and these words were literally spat at my husband. To which he didn’t respond well. We waiting an hour and 20 minutes past our booked time to be seated. Nobody asked if I wished to stay in my chair or transfer to a chair at the table but as there was no chair for me at the table I stayed in my chair. The restaurant was so crammed that I didn’t even try to get to the toilet in my chair and instead used my crutches as they had clearly overbooked and put tables in any space possible. The food was delicious but for a 7.30pm booking we were still eating desserts at 11.30pm, which really exasperated my condition. The service at the table was good it’s just the host and the manager who totally ruined our evening and made me feel ashamed to be disabled and such an inconvenience to them despite the fact no accommodations were made at all. Family have left reviews on trip advisor but I wanted to reach out to fellow disabled people or chair uses to bear this in mind.

Toilets
Accessible toilet but was only just big enough to get my chair in, not the biggest disabled toilet I’ve ever encountered
