Sainsbury's Local Store
Visit date:
Overview
Conveniently placed for local residence, staff are friendly and helpful. However, aisles are quite narrow making maneuvering wheelchairs slightly challenging.
Transport & Parking
There is a small parking bay directly opposite the store. There is no dedicated parking to the store. The parking bay is next to a curbed foot path, there is no room to leave the road side door open for long as it would obstruct oncoming cars.
Access
The store entrance is easily accessible, there is a railed, concrete slope to the door. The store itself if quite small and narrow, if using a wheelchair, it could be challenging to maneuver around the store as the corners are also quite tight.
Toilets
There are no customer toilets at this store.
Staff
Staff are friendly and helpful.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
For its purpose a small convenience store, I feel that it meets the majority of customer's needs. The positioning of products, as in most shops, can be highly and lowly placed making them difficult for some individuals to reach, but staff are approachable to ask for help. I would say that having anything larger than a wheelchair, such as a mobility scooter, could be challenging in this store and that other local shops may be a better choice.
