Overview
Wide aisles throughout shop, good access, friendly staff and wide choice of products. Better access by car than mobility buses (due to height restriction of car park).
Transport & Parking
Underground car park. Good number of disabled spaces for cars near to entrance, but access for buses is poor as they cannot get under the height restriction. Pedestrian walkways through the car park are not very clear for cars driving up and down. Ramped access to bus stop right outside shop, however, no road crossing right by shop to get to opposite bus stop.
Access
Disabled access to shop via lift, 2 lifts available and large enough for sewveral chairs and to turn around in, but the buttons are not easy to press. However, mobility scooters partly blocking access to lift. Plenty of space in the shop, wide aisles without stands cluttering them. Space for wheelchairs and trolleys. Nice and quiet on Monday afternoon. Several self-service checkouts, with money slots low down, however, entrance and exit to them was tight for wheelchairs. All freezers see through.
Toilets
Good, one disabled toilet for the store, wide entrance, although toilet up against the wall.
Staff
Friendly and helpful. Helped us to go through self-service checkout. Uniforms easy to spot.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Evacuation chair at fire escape. Cafe - Liked the resturant space, large seating area with wide aisles, and a wide aisle by the checkout. Staff helpful, said they would help bring food to table (table service for all hot food anyway). Space for 3 trolleys to be parked. Really large free from section, pizza counter, hot food counter, and an in-store bakery.
