Getting Here

There is no direct public transport link to RSPB Scotland Loch Leven. Buses to Kinross park and ride, which is six miles from the reserve, are available from Perth, Edinburgh and other nearby towns. From Kinross take a taxi to the reserve. The nearest train station is Lochgelly which is 5 miles / 8.1 km from the reserve. Cowdenbeath railway station is 7 miles from the reserve. Local taxi companies with wheelchair accessible vehicles are Taxi Central Ltd, Kirkcaldy (telephone 01592 203040), and Cowdenbeath Taxi Service (telephone 01383 513333).

Parking

Parking at the reserve is free of charge for RSPB members and blue badge holders. For all other visitors there is a parking charge of £3 per car, which covers all occupants of the car. There are accessible parking spaces in our car park located next to the path which leads to the visitor centre. This path is level with a tarmac surface and is 60 metres long. Access from the car park to the visitor centre entrance is level.
