Overview
A four night mini break to Inverness which included 2 afternoon teas, 2 evening meals and continental breakfast for two people.
Transport & Parking
There was no accessible parking and as the hotel is adjacent to Inverness Train Station it was not a pleasant experience trying to unload luggage.
Access
There was a steep ramp over one side of the steps. This was difficult for me as a Veloped ( walking aid) user as it was too steep to navigate without help. I will upload a photo of the Veloped so that you can visualise it.
Toilets
I did not use any accessible toilets other than the one in my room. There were grab rails and there was manoeuvre space .
Staff
All but one member of staff were welcoming and couldn't do enough to help. They couldn't be more accommodating. Ishmail deserves a special mention.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
The room was dated but clean. I have uploaded the proximity of the station to the room. It was very noisy and the windows were impossible for me to open as they were so heavy. The heating was either on or off and the towel rail in the bathroom was very hot. I would visit again because I liked the old fashioned feel of the place. The evening meals were lovely.
