Vaccine Efficiency
Visit date:
Overview
Very well thought out and very efficient visit with staff that were really helpful. The overall process was pretty stress free.
Transport & Parking
I got public transport to the centre - Lothian Buses have diverted some of their usual airport routes and they stop right outside. There’s also the option of the tram if you’re able to walk about 15 mins from the nearest stop. Plus there were big signs for car parking nearby.
Access
There is a well signed entrance and on approach the staff opened the door and directed you to first or second vaccine. Then there were further ‘checkpoints’ where you were asked your age and to confirm your appointment slot. The queuing system was well set out with 2m markings clearly on the floor and you were directed to a chair or space and when the person in front of you moved you moved a spot closer. When you were called for your jag it was to a clean & well ventilated booth where a nurse had a brief check of your medical history and gave you your vaccine. If you had driven there were then booths to check that you had no side effects otherwise you followed the one way system to the exit.
Toilets
I didn’t notice whether or not there were any toilets that were open.
Staff
Really helpful. They’ve obviously been very well trained.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
There was a well sign posted one way system throughout. Everyone was wearing masks and there were regular sanitising stations. I saw chairs and hand sanistisers being wiped down. Overall I felt confident in the covid precautions.
