Overview
The most comprehensive armouries that we've visited; so vast and with so many nationalities. Good accessibility, we visited with someone using a wheelchair and had friendly staff and an easy visit. Would recommend.
Transport & Parking
There are only 5 disabled parking spaces, opposite the hotel next to the venue. Did not take public transport but it is close to the city centre.
Access
Disabled access to get into the building was good, there was a friendly member of staff who met us at the start. There is a lift to every floor and signs for toilets and exhibitions. There is also small stools available throughout that you can take with you to sit down on. There are also a number of seats around the venue.
Toilets
There was an accessible toilet on every floor, but we couldn't find the one on the ground floor. There are signs and the toilets were clean and well equipped.
Staff
Staff were fantastic and greet you at the door.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Would recommend it again, beautiful location next to the river, and a fantastic range of exhibitions. We've been to the armouries at the Tower of London and it pales in comparison!
