Overview

A wheelchair accessible American Diner style restaurant with great food (their burgers are amazing!), sadly let down by a lack of disabled facilities.

Transport & Parking

There are a number of disabled parking spaces just outside the restaurant close to the door.

Access

There is a ramp up to the door. The inside is a little tight on space so could potentially cause issues for someone with a larger power chair, but it was fine for me.

Toilets

When I asked, I was told that there wasn't a disabled toilet. There is an accessible toilet at the Shell garage nearby, but it's not specifically for disabled use and space could be a little tight if you use a larger powered chair or require assistance. It's about as clean as you might expect from roadside services (i.e. not great but not the worst).

Staff

The restaurant was quite busy and the service was slow, but we got free onion rIngs by way of apology.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

The restaurant has a quintessential 50s/60s America atmosphere to it as seen via Hollywood films. The food is delicious, though you might struggle to finish even the first course. I highly recommend one of their cheeseburgers (there are several to choose from)! If the lack of disabled facilities on-site is an issue for you, they have other restaurants in Devon and Cornwall. Last time I visited Route 39 in Wadebridge they had a disabled toilet.
