Overview
Me and a friend bought tickets to a comedy show in the main hall, but then my friend injured her knee, was in a lot of pain and couldn't bend her leg. We emailed the Roundhouse the day before attending as we didn't think we would be able to sit in the seats were had booked. My friend was on the verge of cancelling. They have a dedicated access email address and we received an email back almost straight away from Maria. Maria told us to ask for the duty manager Chloe when we arrived and she would make sure we had appropriate seating. When we arrived we actually met with Maria and Chloe. We were shown to the lift then shown to seating at the front of a section, with level access. They even got my friend something to rest her foot on and a cushion and told the ushers to make sure they guided people around her foot. The ushers were a bit bemused at the red carpet treatment we were getting! It really made all the difference as my friend was able to relax and enjoy the night. Just along from us was a wheelchair user, and on our way out we meet a woman who walked with canes. It looked like they had a good evening too.
Transport & Parking
We got a lift with my friend's partner and parked around the corner from the venue. It's also right across the road from Chalk Farm station, which is not step free (even though there is a lift!) but may be suitable for some people. There are bus stops right outside.
