Overview
Brilliant food, lovely staff, BYO and no corkage - how civilised!
Transport & Parking
No specific parking but I'm pretty sure you can park on Chambers Street or round the corner on Infirmary St if you're lucky enough to find a space. Bus stop right outside. Taxi can drop you off right at the door.
Access
Single step up to front door. Staff saw me coming and rushed to help me manoeuvre wheelchair in (was using it as a walker). Not sure if they have a ramp.
Toilets
Big accessible loo on entry level. Plenty of room to manoeuvre. Loses one mark because the hand dryer was broken and falling off the wall!
Staff
So friendly. Couldn't have been more helpful. Didn't get annoyed when most of my table were half an hour late for our reservation (I was raging!). Happy to explain what the dishes on the menu were. Took the drinks we'd brought and put them in the fridge for us, and topped up throughout the night.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Ask for a table upstairs (i.e. entry level) as there are also tables downstairs. The floor slopes upwards past the bar (towards the accessible loo) - great for wheelchairs/scooters, but watch out if you're wobbly on your feet - I hadn't realised there was a slope and ended up tripping over my own feet. This place is very inexpensive - three dishes each, rice, bread, pickles and poppadoms and a dessert - £25 quid each including a decent tip. Wow.
