Overview
Contemporary Indian restaurant on 2 floors. Ground floor serving Indian street food (tapas portions) and open all day. Downstairs, accessible by lift, dining room and bar which is open in the evenings. Serves delicious food. Very good disabled access.
Transport & Parking
Nearest tube station is Marble Arch or Bond Street (which is due to become step free). There are numerous buses that go along Oxford Street and Edgware Road, and are 2 - 3 minutes walk from the restaurant. The restaurant is on a side street between Selfridges and March Arch.
Access
Step free from street to ground floor restaurant. There is a disabled, platform lift, which is hidden behind a curtain (I didn't know until I asked), which takes you down to the lower floor to the main dining room, bar and disabled accessible toilet. The restaurants are spacious. Some of the seating is low and maybe unsuitable for people who have difficulty transferring.
Toilets
There is a disabled accessible toilet on the lower floor which can be reached by lift. I didn't use these facilitates when I visited, so feel unable to score them.
Staff
Staff are extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. They really put themselves out to look after you. Service is efficient (I was with a group).
Anything else you wish to tell us?
The restaurants on 2 different floors offer different menus. The food is delicious. It's just behind busy, Oxford Street and a good place to go to for a relaxing and enjoyable meal.
