Overview
Since this is an old railway track bed it is unsuitable for basic wheelchairs and powerchairs. You would really need an all-terrain capable powerchair or mobility scooter capable of handling rough surfaces. That said, it is a flat route and my chair handled it well. There is parking (free) near the top of Rosedale Chimney Bank although it isn't surfaced. There are no facilities here, being open moorland. Nearest accessible toilets are in the village of Rosedale Abbey (bottom of Rosedale Chimney Bank). They look decent from Googling them. Also at the car park in Hutton le Hole, about 3 miles from the top of the Bank in the opposite direction, which was adequate but not a lot of room.
