Overview

What an amazing event. We were invited as special guests to the big picnic and fun day. And my goodness we had the best day. We only explored a small area of the park but it looked incredible. There is camping and caravan parking as well as a high ropes course, and a natural water play park. We also saw a children’s snake slide in the woods but didn’t go any closer. There was a cafe serving a nice lunch. The toilet was accessible. The parking was good. Overall lovely. I’d love to go back there for a staycation.

Loads of parking available as well as camping and caravan parking.

Access

Easy to get around in my wheelchair. I did walk down to the lake as the path was quite steep but that wasn’t the only way down.

Toilets

Accessible loo but I didn’t see a changing places toilet.

Staff

Brilliant. Everyone was happy and having a great day. It was lovely to see staff litter picking to keep the place beautiful.

We attended the 10 year anniversary picnic and I fully recommend it. We’ll be going every year now!
