Overview
Visit to RHS Bridgewater - well done for your accessibility. Possibly the best I’ve encountered. Lots of thought has gone into the accessibility of all the grounds. I use a walker, and on this occasion I wasn’t a wheelchair user. Even managed to get up to the Chinese garden and lake, although the paths are new and need bedding down a little bit more.
Transport & Parking
I drove as I live 80 miles away. Access from the motorway was well signposted. Lots of accessible spaces.
Access
I use a walker. Signage very good and help with the map was on hand with help of staff. lots of seats to rest, but used the seat on my walker. Everything flat and no lips on thresholds.
Toilets
Accessible loo easy to find. Well equipped and clean. And it had coat hooks!
Staff
Staff were lovely and friendly. All helpful.
