Overview
We visited for the Cage Warriors 98 show on the 20th October 2018 with a wheelchair user and a mobilty scooter user, we felt welcomed from the minute we parked in the disabled parking section. A short walk to the main foyer for the event, disabled access is at the side away from the general crowd which was helpful. The staff were very welcoming and took time to explain the disabled facilities available. The actual viewing area couldn't be faulted, far enough from the floor to give a good view even over the top of a standing crowd. The chairs were comfortable and there was plenty of room to get the chair in and out with no need to ask people to move. I would recommend Genting Arena to anyone with additional needs, we were made to feel that nothing was too much bother and the visit was a pleasure.
Transport & Parking
We parked in the disabled section of the car park.
Access
Best venue in the UK for disabled people.
Toilets
Have to get a key from member of staff but toilets are huge.
Staff
Staff were fantastic and made me laugh with them asking if that was the guy I was down to support for every Scottish boy who walked out haha and when Ross Houston won they thought I was going to jump down 10 foot and sprint towards the cage and jump the barriers and climb the cage - but I can barely walk hahaha. Can't speak higher- staff were amazing!
